Eduardo R. Pacheco V.
Founder and Managing Partner
Eduardo is the Head of the Strategy Consulting Practice. With more than 30 years of experience both in industry positions at CXO level and in consulting, he combines strategic thinking with a track record in implementation. His area of expertise is in strategic planning, executive leadership, and business transformation. He has experience in M&A activities, scenario design, and business operation optimization. Over the years he has been recognized for his innovative achievements in the implementation of projects under his care.
Before starting novygi, Eduardo led the Strategy and Operations at Deloitte Mexico. He was also the head of a tech-oriented family office investment arm and has also worked at McKinsey and A.T. Kearney.
Eduardo received his B.S. in Actuarial Science from the Universidad Anahuac, and an MBA from ITAM. He has executive training programs in Strategy and Finance at the Wharton School and at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Eduardo is the recipient of the National Actuarial Award (1991), granted by the College of Actuaries and the President of Mexico.
Markus A. Kritzler
Founder and Managing Partner
Markus has worked for the last 20 years evaluating private investments and advising on mergers and acquisitions. He participates as an investor in several companies and manages the Investment Committee and oversight of private investments for family offices.
Before launching novygi, he led Corporate Strategy at LafargeHolcim (Zurich), the world’s leading cement producer, where he was in charge of the internal consulting practice for key projects. He was a member of the core transaction team for the merger between Holcim and Lafarge. Before his time at Holcim, he was a partner at an M&A boutique firm in Mexico City, where he advised on over 40 transactions.
Markus graduated in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and received an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
